Scupper Installation

®      Nescoís foam scuppers should be attached to the metal scupper with rust resistant screws

®      It should be tight to the brown coat or stucco (before paint)ónote: it is recommended that a good quality adhesive be used to seal the scupper to the metal to prevent backflow of water to the wall-- Acceptable adhesives are those with a urethane base containing a petroleum solvent, such as Polyurethane Sealant #6000 by Silicones Unlimited (available at Nesco Mfg.), ChemRex #948 by ChemRex, Inc., Vulkem #116 by Tremco, PL Premium Construction Adhesive, PL #200 or PL Polyurethane Sealant available at most Loweís & Home Depot

®    If possible apply a few beads of adhesive to the outside of the metal scupper before positioning the foam scupper

®      Attach the screws through the scupper into the metal and pull the metal tight to the scupper wall

®      Using adhesive, caulk the edges of the metal to restrict backflow of the water to the wall

®      Then caulk the back edge of the foam to the wall and cover the screw heads

®   Paint as desired
